Ditto here. Seems like we are returning to what I knew as a kid in the late 50s (upstate NY)and again in the early 70s (Missouri). Damn those winters were cold in Columbia — I remember waking up to 15 below.
Lived in the Kansas City area in the 70’s and remember one January when the outside temperature didn’t get above zero the entire month. Furnace never shut off plus we went through a cord of wood in just one month trying to keep the house warm. Sure wish we had some global warming back then. LOL.
