His brilliant strategy is the 21st century version of Reagan’s oval office addresses when he had something important to say that he did not trust the press to properly cover. Even then, he had to depend upon ABC/CBS/NBC to air it because C-SPAN did not yet exist. Although I do not “twitter”, millions of Americans do so I hear about it also. DJT is, as the old saying goes, "crazy like a fox".

Wouldn’t that be marvelous... Good idea! Hope it happens.

I doubt if printed newspapers will ever come back. I used to love reading the Sunday version of the local Commie rag, and would still do so, but hey - they're Commies. They've convinced me that capitalism is evil, and I agree, so I don't buy their product. /sarc

Most in the media lack the skill to lie convincingly.
By going to Twitter, Trump sets them on notice that he can call their bluff... their lie ... anytime he chooses.

Trump sees the media’s increasingly smaller headlights in his rearview mirror...while the media watches Trump’s taillights leaving them in the dust.

It’s a beautiful thing to see their relevance shrinking day by day!
