Other than nationalism, I don’t see any aspect of fascism for an American leftist to oppose. They loved it back in the day, they should love it now...except they need to psychologically distance themselves from their fellow traveler Adolph.

I don't see why they need to distance themselves. Not only their platform, but their tactics--voter intimidation, committing violence at Trump rallies, attacking and destroying property of Trump supporters, making death threats to Trump electors--those are all out of the Hitler playbook. They and Hitler are cut from the same cloth, why must they keep hiding it?
