Some of the Barbarians are making it through the gate......
By my math, this is the second GS or former GS exec in the administration. That would be about 2 too many.
Oh NOES!!! The EEEVUL Goldman Sachs! Again! Trump must be one o’ them GLOBALISTS!!!
He needs people who know all of the globalist finance games. They will try
I wanted a librarian for this job...not someone that actually knows something about economics.
Trump is playing right into the hands of the Elizabeth Warren 2020 campaign.
OMGs! Liberal splody heads erupt!
What’s next, he hires someone from Halliburton???
Dick Cheney???
I’m loving this.
It’s a TARP!
What is it with Trump and Goldman Sachs? Does he have a lot of loans with them, maybe some sweetheart loans? I really don’t like to have a lot of power connected with one large bank.
Trump is picking some serious timber for his cabinet picks.
Until Trump starts implementing flawed policy, I haven’t got much to say here.
These people are working for Trump now. He is not working for them.
Trump’s agenda will prevail.
Please keep in mind, a new president will be selected for Goldman Sachs. It may turn out to be a much better person.
We’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out.
May not be quite as much fun as going all-in against Trump right now, but it’s probably more reasoned.
Gee, wonder if the MSM will have anything to say about the contradiction between Trump having a supposed army of Neo-Nazi supporters, and the fact that he picked a Jewish banker to be his Chief Economic Adviser?
so what is Steven Mnuchin suppose to do as Sec. of Treasury ?
Ted Cruz’ wife wasn’t available. LOL
Who better to tear down a corrupt system than one of the corrupted who doesn't want to go to prison?
What about Stephen Moore who has been helping Trump with economic and tax policy for the last year?
Simply because "Goldman Sachs" was used as a boogeyman trigger during the election cycle doesn't mean that there are no good people that can be found there.
I think President-elect Trump has made it abundantly clear that "business as usual" is going to be a thing of the past in the federal government, at least for the foreseeable future.
So let's allow the President-elect to setup his staff according to his wishes and judgement (which have served him well thus far) and then go through the formality of being inaugurated, followed by giving him a fair amount of time to prove the wisdom of his choices.
Given all that I've seen since Donald Trump announced his candidacy, I can't imagine that he is doing anything other than executing this phase of the process very seriously and thoughtfully.
I just can't join in the hand-wringing fest as yet based on an individual choice here or there...
