“...the next four years...”

Hmmm...seems like that coincides with something else that runs four years. Just can’t put my finger on it, though. Help me out here?

Bezos? He’s going to meet with Trump on behalf of Amazon or his WaPo?

What I find stunning is that leading American universities that leave students with +$100,000 in debt for degrees obtained on the belief that these would lead to good-paying jobs also advocate open boarders, sanctuary campuses and such things to bring in foreigners trained at the expense of their own countries at reduced wages.

This fraud on the taxpayers and the younger generation has come full circle and the bill is coming due. And, we all know where the money went - not to professors salaries, which while generous are not extravagant. No, it is the cost of university administration, following Parkinson's law - work expands wherever it can to take all available time and all available money.

It was the IBM announcement of 25,000 jobs that provoked your ignorant statement

“Gobblygook pie in the sky talk - “new collar” jobs.”

I guess if they aren’t slaving at a Bridgeport or pushbroom, they don’t have a job in your world.

IBM just laid off the entire global resiliency services team. I know because I was impacted by the lay off.

“Time to re-ignite the old IBM schools”

The schools were terrific.Back in the 70’s I spent 15 weeks of IT training, programming etc, in Poughkeepsie NY.

Understood.. but being able to show that you are good at math would seem reasonable for the job of an engineer yes?

Bullshit.

There’s a big IBM facility a block down the street from my office that was supposed to employ 800+.

They never hit that and these days the parking lot is never more than half full.

I’m pretty sure none of that has anything to do with owebama or Trump. It’s because IBM sucks.

And Trump enjoys hopeful Christmas talk from all these people and would be employees, and positive PR of jumping in to save jobs before he’s even in office.

Not you specifically. I was talking in response to your reading you asked me to do that might discriminate against minorities. But the way I read it was that if the test was reasonable for the job duties it could be ok. Hence math and engineering.

Oh, I so agree. Isn't it horrifically incredible?!? Part of it is because the Left and the RINOs willingly destroyed our jobs in the name of "Globalism", the other part is because gentle buttercups were raised to believe there was marketable value in a "Gender Studies" degree. Pffff...

We have made plans over 20 years to get our kids through school debt free. It will be our parting gift to them before they go out in the world on their own.
