“I never understood how the birth announcement was in the Honolulu paper only three days after the birth though the announcement does not to my knowledge show where the birth occurred.Newspaper announcements do not ever list where the births occur.”

Mine was posted around the country in various newspapers in the same time period as his. Many times back in those days, proud parents or grandparents called in the announcement to the paper. The newspaper isn’t faking anything by publishing a birth in Arkansas in an Alaskan paper or wherever because the location is never mentioned.

What surprises me is there doesn’t seem to be an article in the society section of the birth. Sr. had more than his fair share of articles because of whom he was or rather what he represented. Big man on campus from Kenya and all that. Yet, nothing about the wedding and nada about the happy melding of the two countries within the baby. On (medical doctor) Dr. Robert Kelley’s blog (friend of Madelyn’s and boardmember at Punahou and CEO of Outrigger and missions to Kenya with Barry’s teacher Hefty)...

*** Just had an ah ha moment. Maybe all roads lead back to Kelley. Perhaps he provided a baby. Abercrombie claims to have “been there” but he lied. Dr. Kelley has been there since before day one. Remember the “Stanley had a baby” statement from some woman? Could be that Stanley Ann GOT a baby. I’m telling you, there’s more to Kelley and he likes to talk.

There was once a site that had letters written to Zero upon him being elected POTUS in ‘08. The site was close, moved, etc. so don’t know where to find it now but from someone who missions in Kenya so maybe related to Kelley but don’t remember. They were titled, “Reminisces” of their good friend Sr. NONE of them ever remembered Stanley and knew NOTHING about a baby. Perhaps someone can find if they’re still online.

http://www.staradvertiser.com/2016/11/08/business/business-breaking/outrigger-hotels-sold-to-denver-based-ksl-capital-partners/ - Outrigger recently sold so don’t know where Kelley’s blog is but it had a WEALTH of info on Zero.

‘Reminiscences’ was a section of a website called Cambodia iirc, it’s still up as far as I know. It was run by the Cambodian Kiri Tith, who was photographed as one of the guests of the Nachmanoffs at a gathering Barack attended and was shown sitting next to a girl who looked Japanese, and she was identified as Anne/USA by him, along with the other guests.
That has to be the girl Kiri Tith told Maraniss he knew, but had no idea she was married to the Kenyan and had a child.
Kiri was a staunch supporter of Obama and devoted many pages on that website to his candidacy, and the letters that were published in regard to the Kenyan student, were from himself and several guests who were at that same gathering.
Disillusioned with zero quite soon after he was elected, those pages, including the letters were totally removed from that website.
Kiri wrote one of those letters. If I can find it, I’ll post it.
There was something odd going on about Kenya and Hawaii, remember, Mabel Hefty, Obama’s grade five teacher, was photographed in Kenya and her father iirc, was a Kenyan by nationality.
You’re quite right, those letters under the Reminiscences heading, which were all written in the early sixties, none of them mentioned a wife and a child.

Abercrombie was probably then, and is now still confused. I think he did see Barack with a girl named Ann or Anna, he described her too well as being very young and shy, and over-awed by the Kenyan native, hanging onto every word he said, which certainly doesn’t fit Stanley Ann by any means...he was convinced enough to declare a birth certificate had to be there, and looked rather silly when he couldn’t find it in the archives. (That’s if the HDOH allowed him to look.)

It’s probable that Barack’s Ann/Anna was the girl whose father was furious and threatened to have him expelled. There are some biographical details in ‘Dreams’ - the trick is trying to understand what is real and what isn’t.

Your Mr Kelly might just have been one of those do-gooders like Mabel, left wingers who wore white guilt like a badge and handed out a little charity and scholarships to Africans because it seemed the thing to do...I really don’t know. But I will post those letters.

btw, recall how Abercrombie said that when he went to Kenya with Pak Zane in 1968, and visited Barack, he found him to be bitter, and complaining. And he never mentioned the wife and child he left in the US...so you, see, Abercrombie, right up until quite recently, believed they existed.

Like a lot of other people however, he swallowed what ‘Dreams’ told him. I guess he knows by now what the lie was. One author (Kengor) wrote that an African student ‘got two blondes pregnant’ and we know that the student advisor warned Barack ‘about his playboy ways’ in reply to which he apparently replied he would TRY to stay away from the girls...

http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/biographer-admits-there-was-no-obama-family/

Although Maraniss talked to many of Obama Sr.’s friends, none of the credible ones ever so much as saw him with Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham.

One Obama friend, a Cambodian named Kiri Tith, knew the senior Obama “very well.” He had also met Ann through a different channel. “But he had no idea,” writes Maraniss, “that Ann knew Obama, let alone got hapai (pregnant) by him, married him, and had a son with him.”

Only Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie claims to have seen the pair together during the presumed courtship stage, but he is not close to credible.

“Maybe I’m the only one in the country,” Abercrombie told the Los Angeles Times in December 2010, “that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.’” This was pure lie, no other word for it.

When current Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie and Zane visited their friend in Nairobi in 1968, Barack Sr. shocked them by never once inquiring about his presumed wife and 6-year-old son.

way down, there is a supposed link to the section where the Nachmanoff story and the letters of testimony to the Kenyan student appear...but it leads to a Word Document which does not open.

I had posted the text of the Kiri Tith letter to an FR thread a long time ago...here it is:

‘Remembering my friend Barak Obama

‘I met Barak, for the first time in the courses in economics that we took together at the University of Hawaii, in the early 1960’s. It was not difficult to spot Barak, as he was a rare African student on the Campus at the University of Hawaii, in Manoa Valley, Honolulu.

‘His easy-going manner, especially his infectious smile, and his proud bearing struck me the most. He was always very inquisitive and active in class discussions and after classes as well.

‘Although he was not an East-West Center grantee, he was always with us, especially at a Guest House owned and operated by the Asia foundation, situated on the top of road leading to Manoa valley. Atherton House was a place where most East-West Center grantees gathered for a drink or a chat.

‘Barak and I were a part of a small group of foreign students who participated in group discussions in various places (Churches, sinagogues, junior colleges) around the campus and in town. Those discussions centered on the role and impact of former Soviet Union and China had in the developing countries. Barak, was more hopeful than I was about the role and the influence of these two major Communist countries in the developing nations in the world, because I had the opportunity to study in Europe, and in France, especially, I was more aware of the nature of communism than Barak was.

‘In these debates, Barak was always very eloquent, and enthusiastic. We often were not on the same side, when discussing Communism in the developing countries. In our disagreement, Barak was always very gracious and fair. He was a very good listener which helped a great deal in making those discussions more constructive and pleasant

‘Finally, by chance when I was a staff member of the IMF, one day, a colleague of mine who led an IMF mission to Kenya in the early 1980’s, told me that he had met a government official named Barak Obama who said he was a classmate of mine in Hawaii. I knew it was the same Barak who was my classmate at the University of Hawaii. Needless to say that I was very happy to finally be able to be in contact again with Barak, after more than ten year of silence. My IMF colleague had given me Barak’s telephone number and I immediately called him in Nairobi. We had a long conversation and we were able to talk to each other a few more times until one day, when I called him and his secretary told me over the phone that he had passed away of an accident. I was shocked and sad to hear the bad news. That was the time I had talked to Barak, in the early 1980’s.

‘Barak was indeed a very special human being, with a lot of dignity and character. He was a very engaging, gracious, warm, and smart person. That is how I remember my friend Barak Obama.’

btw, if you care to go back to that current thread of Cambodiana and scroll down a way, you will find that link to the Word Document I thought didn’t open.’

It did, the second time.

In that, he explains why he was disillusioned, and why he removed the pages. On which you will find all the letters.

I believe they made up later, when Obama potus was helpful about a Camdodian issue later.
