I felt bad in 2008 when 0bama won. But I didn’t go crying to the therapist about it.
Some moderate self-medication with a bottle of Beefeater’s gin was sufficient.

Did the mental health community have this sort of angst, among themselves and patients, when Obama was elected???
Did they experience such difficulties upon results of any other election in history??

I don’t get it.
If someone is this emotionally fragile (and incapable of being impartial) how the heck did they get work as a “therapist?”
If anything, it sounds to me like they are actually making their clients worse!

This article leads one to conclusion that Libs are unstable. :-)

I just offer up that what they are ‘feeling’ I have been dealing with for 8 years.
I tell them they will get used to it...*snicker.

But therapists have feelings, too, of course. As the news settled in, the psychologists we spoke to were weighing how much of their own anxieties they should divulge to their already vulnerable clients. There are probably a higher % of loons in that profession than in any other.

My mother had a perfect cure for everything that ailed you. I’m sure it will cure post election trauma....
She would always tell us to go soak our head in a bucket of water. If that didn’t work she would tell us to keep it under longer!

The problem here is that the MSM drove the Left into a psychological frenzy to support Hillary Clinton and when she lost, the psychological “crash” hurt a lot of people. That’s why I really had to ask was it a good idea to hold a Thanksgiving dinner just only a few weeks after the election with so many frayed psyches on the Left.

These 8 need help, maybe a stay in mental hospital is in order. And their patients should find alternative shrinks.

I wanted my clients to see how upset I was I wanted them to know that I was just as scared and anxious as they were because I wanted them to know that I was with them. So in the first few weeks, I allowed myself to be with my clients and to cry with them. I wanted them to know that we were all in it together, that racism, homophobia, and misogyny shake me to my core ...Oh for Pete's sake...

I am not being the least bit factious when I ask this:
How to these people, including this wacko therapist, stay grounded well enough to hold jobs and function in society? They sound like they need to be medicated into a state of drooling contentment.

This has to be one of the stupidest articles I’ve ever read on F.R., I “feel” as if I have lost about 40 or so I.Q. points and everybody that knows me knows that I can’t afford that.
