Why should a foreign government be allowed to finance a mosque on American soil? Don’t tell me that this was intended by the framers of our Constitution.
It was one of the few areas in Virginia still not infiltrated by the helpful Obama Administration:
Some folks in the justice department are going to lose their jobs.
No more mosques!
Tax the rest!
And why is the US Justice dept. involving itself in a local zoning matter?
Why can’t they hire their own damned lawyer?
My final mission there, after nearly two years, was successful - we cut their foreign military funding from an average of $15 million/year to ZERO. One of the highlights from my 25 years on active duty.
This is my hometown, I know all about it...
They put a contact on an uninhabited, dilapidated old house on the edge of town, it hadn’t been lived in for 20 years and had no occupancy permit. It had no sewage or working septic field. It was selling cheap because nobody wanted to pay to have it attached to the town sewage system.
The county only grants a pump and haul permit for an emergency situations, certainly not for new construction or renovation of and old house ready to fall down. It had nothing to do with their desire to build a Mosque. They threatened to sue on day one and had a CAIR rep come to the BOS meeting.
We knew they were playing the discrimination card, but it didn’t fly, and yes we cheered when the permit was denied.
Thanks for the local insight.
NO mosques on American soil.
