It looks like Trump is and will governand will govern as a conservative.

We just need to be sure to support him despite the liberal media attacks on him.

More correctly, he’s close to actual conservatism and far away from Bush/McAmnesty/Graham ‘conservatism’.

He beat the combined force of the Democrats and the MSM, who worked together and didn’t try to hide it.

He will have to continue to fight them, and beat them, every day, at least for a while.

If there is a mass casualty terrorist attack on us, it will be blamed on him, and on we Americans who voted for him. Blame will be fixed immediately, before any investigation gets underway.

The only thing that will slow down the Democrat/MSM interference will be if things get better for the majority of Americans, as they did under Ronald Reagan.

It is well to remember that the American economy didn’t start to really rev up until 1982 and 1983. There were early signs in 1981, but those are only visible now in hindsight. they weren’t obvious at the time.

A strong Putin-Trump alliance is Islam's worst nightmare. They have been using the leftist useful idiots and the neocon useless geniuses to drive a wedge between western and eastern Christianity. And together we can pump enough oil to put the House of Saud out of business.

I’ve always thought Trump was the most Conservative candidate in the GOP primary. More than Cruz

Lets not go too far with the conservative bit. His National defense picks 100% awesome! His finance picks are yet to be desired. When you have Gates and Rice praising his economic picks and State tied to Goldman x2 with one close ties to Soros no far from conservative

Many doubtful conservatives made a bet that President Trump would be better than a tyrant like Hillary. It seems like acceptable odds at the time, and today it seems like the best bet imaginable.

How can this be?

The paragon of conservatism (sarc), National Review, told me that “Trumpism” was anything but conservative.

Trump will govern as an American. As the old Superman line he’s for “truth, justice, and the American way”. Liberals and leftists are for lies, just-us, and the globalist way. The American way that makes sense and is truth-based happens to called “conservatism”.

The source site for this is CNN. I’m surprised it doesn’t say something like “Trump agrees to produce video of toddlers playing with puppies being burned alive with flaming gasoline” or some such extreme nonsense.

“Donald Trump might have been a conservative hiding in plain sight this whole time.”

ISN’T THAT SWEET!!!

But I do think we need some apologies here from the people that were TOTALLY WRONG about him. The ones that said “he’s not serious”, “he’s only running to elect Hillary”, “Cruz is the only conservative”, “he’ll take down our hold on Congress, too”, “he’s Hillary’s dream candidate”, “you’ll be sorry”...

I don’t hear much whining about Trump these days. The biggest complaints seem to be about some of the people he’s meeting with, such as Romney and other leftists. Well, Romney still has his resume’ dangling in the wind, and I don’t see many of the other leftists getting important jobs, if any jobs. And people forget that Trump wasn’t handed the keys to the White House on November 9th, he won a very close election (close only because of the anti-Trumpers on our side), and there were still ways to stop him. Starting with the re-counts - he needed REPUBLICANS in the recount states to watch the process and go to court for him, he needed the Electors to HOLD TOGETHER to get him through that critical vote, and he still needs Republican support before he can step into the White House. And whether we like it or not, the VAST MAJORITY of Republican insiders (including Electors) HATE TRUMP...so Trump had an uphill climb to the White House, even after the election...and I’d say he’s been playing it PERFECTLY.

Trump is the most conservative President since Reagan. And the conditions of the day will give him opportunities to be even greater than the Gipper - who is probably smiling down from Heaven at this election cycle.

Actually, we need to shuck the conservative laziness and apathy and mount an attack on the media. We do not need to be passive and hope God takes care of things. A little personal responsibility and direct action is in order
