This is something I've researched several times before and apparently there were many non-Christian sources who reference him in written works. An article I found that lists several of them:

http://coldcasechristianity.com/2014/is-there-any-evidence-for-jesus-outside-the-bible/

What I would really like to find but never have are sketches or paintings of him. I imagine the Romans may have removed them ala Muzzie style to remove them from the public. If anyone knows where these might be, I would love to see them if they were done while he was alive...

While holding that “the historical record itself is thin,” meaning that there are “no birth records, no trial transcripts, no death certificates,”

Good enough to be a Dem POTUS.

“I still can’t help wondering how we can explain away what to me is the greatest miracle of all and which is recorded in history. No one denies there was such a man, that he lived and that he was put to death by crucifixion.

Where … is the miracle I spoke of? Well consider this and let your imagination translate the story into our own time—possibly to your own home town. A young man whose father is a carpenter grows up working in his father’s shop. One day he puts down his tools and walks out of his father’s shop. He starts preaching on street corners and in the nearby countryside, walking from place to place, preaching all the while, even though he is not an ordained minister. He never gets farther than an area perhaps 100 miles wide at the most. He does this for three years. Then he is arrested, tried and convicted. There is no court of appeal, so he is executed at age 33 along with two common thieves. Those in charge of his execution roll dice to see who gets his clothing—the only possessions he has. His family cannot afford a burial place for him so he is interred in a borrowed tomb.

End of story? No, this uneducated, property-less young man has, for 2,000 years, had a greater effect on the world than all the rulers, kings, emperors; all the conquerors, generals and admirals, all the scholars, scientists and philosophers who have ever lived—all of them put together. How do we explain that—unless He really was what He said He was?” ~ Ronald Reagan

Atheists confuse logic with faith; having neither on their side. To deny a historical Jesus, one must conclude that a group of fishermen, a tax collector and others dreamed up this Christianity bit. It had to be the greatest con job in history.

Those who died horrible deaths defending the faith had to be brainwashed (Russians, aliens and/or the fishermen) into doing so.

If you can believe the atheists, I’ve got beach front property for sale in Nebraska.

Well, I’m an atheist, and even I am pretty sure Jesus was an actual person with actual followers.

Try the Shroud of Turin. I recall reading something about the research done years ago. The piece used in radiocarbon dating had apparently been a patch put on after the fire singed the Shroud, so it did not ‘read’ old enough to have been from.the time of Jesus. The Roman Catholic church will not allow another sample to be taken from the Shroud.

As a non-Roman Catholic, I don’t put much stock in ‘relics’, but what I’ve read of the Shroud, it sounds like it well could have been Jesus’ shroud. Apparently, a ‘negative’ of the Shroud will give you something close to what you desire.

This nonsense has been debunked multiple times.

Dawkins was forced to recant his assertion that Jesus may not have been real in a live debate.

No serious historian doubts it. None.

Robert Spencer makes a pretty good case that the historical Moehammed is fiction:

The Roman historian Tacitus in his Annales (116AD) mentions Christ (”Christus”), his crucifixion and the early existence of Christians at Rome (60AD).
