The implosion of the MSM and its current irrelevant status are 2 of the best outcomes that have come out of this campaign season/election.
I honestly had never heard of Don Lemon when I was getting a hoot out of Larry Wilmore at the White House Correspondent's dinner of 2016 - quoting Larry -

Don Lemon is assuming that we are getting our information from Trump's tweets via the news media. We aren't. I get most of mine from Facebook. Facebook is where I go to get almost all of my news information. Face it Lemon, your medium is DEAD!

Clearly Don Lemon is missing the point. He Tweets so he can go around them already. He’s not Tweeting for the media - he’s Tweeting for the people. The people don’t need to turn on CNN. They can check on their phones and computers. Also, you can bet Fox News will cover the Tweets, and Fox has better ratings than CNN anyway.
In general, CNN can’t help themselves. They hate him, but they can’t help but follow his every move. They need his Tweets as fodder for headlines & endless panel discussions.

Why doesn't Don Lemon and CNN just report the news in an unbiased manner?
Because then they’d be judged on reporting accuracy, and not the personality making up the “news”?
