I have spoken with men and women friends and work colleagues with a $1000+ per month dating habit.
These are good, decent, and honorable people who go on many dates because they (paradoxically) do not wish to go on lots of dates.
I am glad to have a fantastic partner...contemporary dating would be brutal and expensive at this time!

I will go further. There are women out there these days who are very happy to have money spent on them, but when the pocketbook strings are pulled back even a little, they’re off to find another unhindered pocketbook.

I’ve run into more than my share of takers in the last few years.
