Russian President Vladimir Putin held his rival Barack Obama up to ridicule on Friday by declining to engage in tit-for-tat expulsions - and instead inviting U.S. diplomats' children to the Kremlin to party.

The Russian strongman's actions were accompanied by a fusillade of abuse aimed at Obama from Moscow underlings, who called him a 'political corpse' and said his administration was made up of 'angry and shallow-brained losers'.

Obama had problems with Putin before Trump’s Campaign, so it sounds like Obama is using this to get back at Putin also.

Putin takes the high road: Russian president says he WON'T expel US diplomats

Putin may be a treacherous snake, but he is still light years classier than Hussein 0bama, and much smarter too.

He has been made to look small on the world stage. Now he needs to be ignored unless he tries to do something else

Being the butt of jokes in the international community should be enough to warn him off

Obama may have done more to unite our countries than Reagan.

If the man is truly unstable this will just push him to try something worse. He wants his own way the way he wants it. Like a rat in the psych lab not meeting Os expectations will stimulate more and worse behavior Do hope the Federal Marshalls are keeping an eye on him

So Obama’s next move will be to recall the diplomats in an “I’ll show him” maneuver...

Thank God the grownups will be back in charge soon.

As an American in America I am embarrassed for my country. As a child of the Cold War it is surreal to me I have more respect for the leader of Russian then I do for our petulant child President.

Putin is a lot more intelligent than most people give him credit for, and he’s just biding his time until Trump takes office, for the reason stated above, he’s sure Trump will attempt an actual positive reset of relations between the two countries.

As I’ve said before, this would be a good thing. Putin is currently the only world leader standing against the globalists, who he disowned not long ago, and he needs us as an ally in the effort to stop them. He knows Trump opposes them too, and he sees that it is in his best interest to establish a more agreeable relationship with the US.

He stated not long ago that Russia does not intend to get into an arms race they can’t afford, that tells us the Russian economy is in worse shape than we may have thought. He also knows Trump has made comments during his campaign that indicate he is willing to take a less hostile stance toward Putin, and my opinion is that the last thing he wants is a war with the US, even though our military has been seriously weakened by Obama.

As far as I can tell, Putin is and should remain an adversary, but a more agreeable relationship is in the better interest of both countries. So he’s just biding his time and making sure he doesn’t piss Trump off before he even gets into office, he doesn’t want Trump to be an enemy.

Trump should pursue a better diplomatic relationship, but at the same time, remember the old saying - keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Agree. Its tough enough for some Americans to be stationed in a country where the relationships aren’t good, but this stuff of child king Obama shows he has no clue how he can actually affect a Foreign Service Employees children when a move like this is all the host country needs to retaliate with social isolation, name calling, no pickup from schools etc...

A joke of a leader, who has been outed by Vlad the Impaler....

Also, the news (posted here three times last night) that Russia was closing a school for U.S. diplomats was apparently fake. It has been denied by Russia and confirmed not true by a U.S. diplomat, saying it was just closed for the holiday break.

Yes, much smarter....this move does 4 things at once:

1. It denies O'bozo the chess move he was looking for

2.It shows the world who appears to be the wiser leader

3. It makes it harder for O'bozo to make another move as advertised without looking like he's provoking Russia, and

4.It puts the future Presidents administration on a short leash for a response

This is still in this article(written today):
Was it true - reversed - false?

"Vladimir Putin has, however, taken the dramatic step to close an Anglo-American day school in Moscow just hours after President Obama announced the tough new sanctions against the country.
Putin's government announced on Thursday it was shutting the Anglo-American School of Moscow - a K-12 school chartered by the U.S., British, and Canadian embassies.
About 1,200 students from 60 different countries take classes at the school.
