that is the way it is with every country and the biggest mistake a president can make is not to believe it and base there foreign policy on that fact

1) Isn't that true of any ally? They all have their own interests.

2) If I had to go to the Middle East, I would far rather stay in Israel than any other country over there. It is no contest. I would rather go to Siberia for a few years than any Arab country.
