My thought exactly. The reporting of this is so typical. CBS just finished 15 minutes of breathless speculation spun around 15 seconds of fact. NBC and ABC had a crawler about the incident but didn't interrupt "Today" or (in SF) "The Harpies View".
As for FOX, MSNBC and CNN, they have nothing better to show, so they can go wall to wall and nobody knows the difference or cares much.
