FYI – Fort Lauderdale airport is known in the local community (open secret) to be an airport where drugs and firearms are smuggled by organized crime and cartels. There have been multiple arrests on such activity before. Might be related.
The bobble heads on CNN immediately called for legislation to ban guns in checked luggage.
It’s just as easy to walk into baggage claim with a loaded weapon.
What was this dick’s plan? Fly all the way in from Anchorage, shoot up the airport and then hit the beach for some fun-n-sun?
