My guess, the kid IS sick and was attracted to isis due to mental issues. They really are all mad..insane.

The index finger is the Muslim sign. I suspect that he has mental issues, because a lot of jihadi recruits do, but if he walked into an FBI office just about a month ago and said he was being “forced to fight for ISIS,” why didn’t they do something about it? At least send him for a psych exam if they didn’t believe him.
I thought he was probably Dominican but it seems he’s Puerto Rican. They looke more like each other than either group looks like Cubans (and not at all like Mexicans).
I’d like to know if there was an air marshall on that flight, and if so, did the air marshall see and/or report anything.
Also, per family member who’s flown in both the US and EU: Has seen heavily armed LE in baggage claim areas in a couple of EU airports, but not in US airports. Seems like some heavily armed LE in baggage claim areas would be a very wise idea.
