Despite a record loss of offices for the Democratic Party during his eight-year presidency, Barack Obama believes that the problem is not the party’s values or policy prescriptions but the inability to “make the argument.”
That’s what his top spokesman told Newsmax Friday in response to our question about the numerous news stories pointing out that Democrats lost 1,030 offices — U.S. Senate and House seats, governorships, and state legislative offices — during the Obama presidency.
Noting that several reports conclude that this is the largest loss of offices for a party while it held the White House in modern history, we asked how the President felt about it.

Well, dear big Zero, have you ever thought it might not be just “how you are selling garbage” but also the “garbage that Democrats are selling?”
When YOU told the public that the ACA would lower costs by $2500 per family, when you promised that if you liked your medical insurance plan you could keep your plan, or if you liked your doctor you could keep your doctor, or that there was not one smidgen of wrong doing at the IRS, or that the $1.7 Billion in cash payments to Iran was not ransom, or that you were drawing a red line in the sand over the use of WMD in Syria, or .... oh never mind.
The American voters have learned that Hillary lies to us and can't be trusted. The American voters have learned that Obama lies to us and can't be trusted. After reading Wikileaks released emails, we have learned that the DNC and Super delegates lie to the public and can't be trusted.
It is not about “making the argument” in a way that people hear it, it is about making an argument that people can believe is truthful and not a lie to manipulate them.

For calling cops racists, for believing that you don’t have to enforce laws at the border, for putting transgender rights above others, for numerous scandals in which his underlings most likely committed multiple felonies and he directed his Justice Department to look the other way.....People are sick of his and his cohorts crimes and law breaking. Letting the prisoners out of GITMO behind the backs of Congress, sending cash to Iran and probably taking millions in kickbacks and getting away with it. I could go on for an hour. We rejected his Anti-Americanism and criminality. He and his cohorts need to go to jail

Yes, exactly; and while I detest Bill, the result was welfare reform and several other good moves.
To their discredit, the GOPe does the same thing. Granted, the principles that come out of conservatives’ mouths are correct, but when the GOPe says A, gets elected, and does not-A, it’s a wonder they win anything. The Dims are just that much *worse*.
They made the argument for me. I just don’t buy their argument.
