AUSTIN (KXAN) A Texas medical researcher is raising concerns about a potential large-scale comeback of the measles.
Peter Hotez, Baylor College researcher, says Texas is on the verge of a measles out-break. The main reason is because parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children.

Beyond stupid!
Sometimes there’s nothing stupider than a PhD. I say that although I have a PhD myself. Just because you’re smart doesn’t mean you’re wise.
How is it that if the greater majority of the students have been vaccinated that a major outbreak can happen. There was I believe a mumps outbreak a while back and most of the kids that caught it had been vaccinated. I thought only the unvaccinated should be affected.
It is bothersome that somethings like mumps, measles, TB and wolves are on the rise.
There have been isolated cases of bubonic plague in this country
Wolves aint cute
Still, when my time comes they can have my bones, but not before mytime, and im gonna break a few legs on the way out
I worked for almost 25 years at one of the world's most famous hospitals. The huge majority of the physicians and surgeons I worked with during those years were graduates of Harvard,Yale,Columbia,Stanford, etc. They were brilliant at their trade but on issues *other* than medicine they were no smarter...or more wise...than me
In fact,I don't think they were *as* smart,or wise,as me.
Some have no common sense
Head in the clouds.
Some are grounded
My point is education does not fix stupid
“I thought only the unvaccinated should be affected.”
A population must achieve herd immunity.
Without herd immunity, some in the vaccinated population will contract the disease.
It is what it is, but i note the common denominator is liberal colleges, liberalism.
Well, that’s one way to thin the herd.
“Illegals dont care about vaccinations. If their kids are it to five, they are immune to most diseases. Too bad for the weaker ones.”
In the last several years, there have only been two reported cases of measles in Mexico. Both patients had visited the United States prior to being diagnosed.
Measles in the US is not caused by the illegal aliens.
Stupid???
Stupid!
I refused vaccines for my kids after having 2 of them have very bad reactions to the nasty things!
When a 3rd one banged his head on a dumpster while goofing around at school, I did take him for a straight tetanus shot and the dr asked me if he had any other shots and when I told him NO, he said that I was a good mom!
He then related how his nephew had been permanently brain-damaged by the DPT shot.
My PA just recently asked if I wanted a flu shot. I asked her if she could guarantee me the ingredients in the shot and she hesitated and said, “No”. (mercury and fetal tissue among other non-healthy stuff)
I then asked if she could guarantee it to work. Again the answer was in the negative.
So, WHY, I ask.
smart parents
“smart parents”
They don’t look so smart when their children get the measles.
“I wonder about the safety of adjuvants in vaccines”
That is not secret information. They include mercury or aluminum, both toxic.
Because the risk without vaccination is greater then the risk of vaccination
You ever seen someone crippled or dead with polio?
And because we dont want breeders in society
Still exists in the third worlds.
Still exists in the third worlds.
A lot of this is political.
Tx fought obamacare hard and a lot of people lost medicaid.
It was a political thing that had to be done.
We are making another push and we will restore healthcare.
My healthcare sucks
Hey, if they’re here illegally, let ‘em have all the shots we can pump into them.
