Does Arizona have an open primary? If so, then Dems can influence who becomes the Republican nominee. McCain is often the Dems best person on TV.
McCain has been political poison for decades - siding with Democrats on every issue from immigration to campaign finance to foreign policy repeatedly.
As I've remarked many times over, Arizona and South Carolina are two of America's most conservative states, and yet they can't get rid of America's two most liberal Republicans (McCain and his girlfriend Graham) in Senate primaries. The only possible explanation for this is the entrenched power of local and national political machines (especially their media outlets) backing incumbents.

At this point, his security clearance needs to be pulled and some questions asked. He cannot represent the GOP at any function from this point on.

#7 Mitch McConnell now has a perfect excuse to remove McCain from all committees especially these one’s as he is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services and a member of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
I hope there is a nice sidewalk intersection where the FBI agent, McCain and others can beg for money after they loose their jobs. I also hope there is a special place in hell for them.
