Dogs are a reflection of their humans. My chocolate lab would never bite anyone. She tries to make friends with everyone she meets. But, then again, my dog grew up in a loving home.
IF your dog felt under threat she would have two reactions, flight or fight. So it is best to never assume your do would never bite. She might have very good reason to. Also if you watch dogs play they often nip and bite at each other especially around the mouth. What is just friendly dog play can become a serious bite if the dog thinks it is o.k. to play that way with a person. Which they will if the person initiates that play first. Which this girl did.
“My chocolate lab would never bite anyone.”
I don’t think anybody’s lab would ever bite anyone. They’re about the friendliest breed on the planet.

Same here. I have two, the smaller one’s 92 lb. and half Black Lab/half American Staffordshire Terrier (sometimes called “Pit Bull”) and the large one’s a 115 lb. Great Dane. The greatest problem any visitor, including trades people and delivery people, has with either is that the smaller one wants go go for a ride with the visitor. Everybody laughs at me when I call them “trained guard/attack dogs.”
