IF your dog felt under threat she would have two reactions, flight or fight. So it is best to never assume your do would never bite. She might have very good reason to. Also if you watch dogs play they often nip and bite at each other especially around the mouth. What is just friendly dog play can become a serious bite if the dog thinks it is o.k. to play that way with a person. Which they will if the person initiates that play first. Which this girl did.

My dog doesn't feel threatened by an unknown person coming up to her. To her, strangers are just friends she hasn't met yet. I would totally trust her her with anyone. Even a one year old. She is 60 pounds of pure chocolate lab love.

Labs are great dogs. They keep that puppy attitude for a long time.
