It is hard to keep up sometimes but that’s one thing I like about the show. You have to pay attention all the time or you can get a bit lost.
Both were on the nest for a bit but one just flew off. It looks like they brought some new materials to the nest yesterday after I shut the computer down. Also looks like it’s warmed up a tad since the snow’s melted a little.
They are really beautiful birds!
I see one is banded but can't see if the other is. I kind of hope it isn't so we'll have a way of identifying them.
Good morning, Ms B...((HUGS))...I cannot pinpoint something happening. Could be just an accumulation of all the use it’s had over a lot of years. I just know it hurts constantly and we are trying to find out if it’s a tear or something out of place. Today I’m hoping the results will let the chiropractor know how to proceed.
I sure know what position is a killer, and maybe it’s a clue!
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
MRI and claustrophobic don’t mix LOL
Hope you feel better soon.
Good morning Ma (((HUGS)))
Finally getting to FR to catch up on pings.
OMG! What happened to your shoulder? Did you slip and fall? And, what in the h-e-double-L would they put an sandbag in the palm of your hand for? When they took MRI? Of as treatment? Howz pain this morning?
okay, so I have an answer to one of my questions...well, two I guess since you’re working with a chiropractor; they’re a little different
(I don’t trust them. IMO, they make matters worse)
Hope you find out soon.
(Stopping by before signing off for the weekend.)
We still have tv (we use inside digital HD antenna), but we do a lot of streaming (from computer to SmarTV) and Hulu Plus and Netflix.
Do not miss the “ever increasing” cable bill.
Good morning EG ((HUGS))
I’ve finally caught up on pings and am getting ready to sign off. Got chores and errands to run and it’s already 9.
Sorry I have to post and run. Hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend.
Kathy, I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. And more importantly, I've torn the rotator cuff in BOTH shoulders and had to have them surgically repaired. What you describe is exactly what I was suffering on each of the shoulders before surgery.
I tore the right rotator cuff playing basketball in the church gym in 2005. I tried to make a quick move to steal the ball and suddenly my right arm stopped working. I went ahead and finished the game and played another with one arm. Mrs. henkster had to pull my shirt off just so I could shower when I got home. God sent me a message that being over 40, it was time slow down.
The left shoulder went in the same gym in 2009, but this time when I was playing floor hockey with a bunch of high school kids. God told me I should have listened the first time.
Each injury required reconstructive surgery; the tendon had been completely severed and the muscle retracted into my neck. The surgeon had to go in, pull the muscle out of the neck and down to the ball of the shoulder and fasten it with a screw. I will not lie; the post-op is painful. And the lack of use of the arm sucks. But if you can have the surgery done, DO IT.
As for rehab, you will have to do about three months of physical therapy. Do your exercises at home. Do exactly what the PT people tell you to do, no more, no less. In six months you get full range of motion back and in a year, more or less full strength. I still do my rotator exercises three times a week.
I can see where this surgery ends major league pitchers' careers, but for the ordinary non-athlete like us, it works.
Drop-dead gorgeous! I got a scap, but mine wasn’t that good. LOL!
Oh, yeah...I hear ya. Ours just went up $11 more this month because they are adding more stuff....which we don’t want or need! Grrrrr
Have a GREAT weekend, beachy!
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is good here. It’s cooler but not too drastic. Heard y’all were to have some really nasty stuff up there! You and Bo stay safe! And warm!
