There is a good reason why Barbara Bush did not want him to run. She knew her sons limitations.
Then she eventually gave in, as has probably always been the case his whole life. And now he’s ruined the Bush dynasty.
If Jeb (or the Bush family) was behind it, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least. They have a history of that type of playing dirty (remember John McCain fathering a black baby). Not to mention Bush Sr. deep connections in the intelligence community (he was the former CIA director).
Than that makes it all right with me.

Especially since whatever he did would have been isolated so that he would have “plausible deniability”. His old man was CIA Director too, you know.
