You notice that too. LOL! I cringe whenever it’s presented like that either on screen or even in some novels. Do any of these authors need to hire someone that at least has a minimal working knowledge of firearms? They could pay me to do it.

You can make a .22 pretty quiet with a silencer. Bigger rounds, not so much.

—the other thing that really gets to me in movies especially is when , as the good guys/bad guys approach the opposing good guys/bad guys is the racking of the slides on the shotguns as they close in —
