US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power on Friday warned that cutting US funding to the United Nations would be “extremely detrimental” to American interests, one week before Donald Trump’s administration takes office.
Addressing her final news conference, Power told reporters that “countries like Russia and China” would benefit from Washington’s reduced standing at the United Nations if funding were withdrawn.
“We lead the world, in part, by leading at the UN,” said Power, who is stepping down next week after four years as President Barack Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations.

Yes, she is a leftist ideologue, intoxicated with her own power, prestige, and “intellect”. She openly advocates for the military invasion of Israel to end the supposed genocide against the Palestinian people (Arabs, because there is no Palestinian people). Every time she speaks I cannot help but think of Germany’s excuse for invading the rest of Europe to end the Jewish persecution of European citizens.
According to the Al Jarida report, President Obama wants to be appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations after he leaves the White House, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is working to thwart his ambitions.

I would support any and all efforts to get 0bama appointed as the UN Secratary general.
Then.
Cut all US funding and kick them out of the US.
And, impose sanctions on any so-called western democracies that continue to fund or remain as members.
The UN would then become a collection of Arab/Communist Nations and a clear line would be drawn for the world to see.
