Lady Liberty Will Be Depicted as Black Woman on New Coin, Treasury Says This story was posted a day or two ago, but, having said that, I think this is a perfectly fine idea and Lady Liberty looks great!

I like this idea. It’s not live silly forced multiculturalism like a black James Bond. Ladd Liberty is an allegory, therefore any female (please don’t tell me they’ll have a trans) works. And I love the artwork. She’s a strong beautiful looking woman. The Eagle is great also.

I wish they would stop wasting money designing and making mould/plates or whatever for new coins or dollars. Sure some is needed to keep ahead of counterfeit but most of these designs seem just a waste of money.

Let's see if I have this straight. We are honoring African Americans with a new 1 oz gold coin. The price of an ounce of gold is about $1,200.
A typical American has less than $400 in savings.
So how will typical African Americans be able to hold and view such an expensive coin?
Oh that's right is is a Democratic Party program where feelings and compassion are more important that factual substance.
Sorry, I brought this up.
