Europe is turning radical leftist and Muslim. Not much in common with US anymore. And it is only going to get worse.

Personally, I think it’s time we STFU in the world for a little while. Our credibility is shot to pieces. Spend some time having quiet back channel chats, get the diplomatic system back up and running, ummmm... what else... stop funding ISIS and other terrorists.

stop funding ISIS and other terrorists.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That will require the people of Florida, South Carolina and Arizona to stop electing Rubio, Graham and McCain.
`The Constitution is not a suicide pact.’
Justice Jackson’s dissent in this case is worth reading and is particularly relevant this week, nearly 70 years later as `rat thugs threaten lawlessness, again, in order to disrupt a result they oppose and to try and delegitimize the lawfully elected president of the United States.
http://caselaw.findlaw.com/us-supreme-court/337/1.html
“This Court has gone far toward accepting the doctrine that civil liberty means the removal of all restraints from these crowds and that all local attempts to maintain order are impairments of the liberty of the citizen. The choice is not between order and liberty. It is between liberty with order and anarchy without either. There is danger that, if the Court does not temper its doctrinaire logic with a little practical wisdom, it will convert the constitutional Bill of Rights into a suicide pact.
I would affirm the conviction.
Mr. Justice BURTON joins in this opinion.”
The police should be recording the activities with CCTV of all who show up masked, who refuse to assemble peaceably and arrests should be made as required with prosecutions to follow and with appropriate sentences given to those convicted.
As of January 20th we become a nation of laws again.
Mr. Trump’s comments “are a direct assault on the liberal order we’ve built since 1945
And that's why we love him.
Agreed. We have squandered the Republic that our virtuous forefathers created. We need to rebuild our strength, prosperity, and unity before we can start on any foreign adventures.
We need to save OUR people in Chicago before we worry too much about the people in Aleppo.
I’m not anxious. I’ve been sleeping like a baby since Election Day. To quote Winston Churchill “I slept the sleep of the saved and thankful”.
R. Nicholas Burns and the rest of the State Dept. (Wendy Sherman, John Kerry, Clinton, Mad Albright, , Warren Christopher, Dennis Ross, Sandy Berger, Colin Powell and Cyrus Vance) have long enjoyed being part of the Ruling Elite and making unwise and sometimes downright foolish agreements with America's enemies.
These folks who sit on the top of the pinnacle of power have never had the true wisdom to honestly broker good deals for the USA and the West. Instead they pander to our enemies, bend over and acquiesce to whatever the Iranians or North Koreans have demanded. They cower before the PLO threats and go along with ridiculous UN decisions. These folks are worthless and need to be taken out with the dirty laundry. Enough stupidity! Enough!
That is true in regards to Chicago, in which this past Christmas, an editorial picture showed a child living in a Chicago urban apartment building and the star of Bethlehem shining over the former Sears Tower building with the words “peace please”.
