Yes it is certainly poor timing for G. H. W. Bush to get so ill right now since it distracts from Trump’s inauguration. (sarcasm)

I still can’t believe he lost to Clinton; it was almost as if he didn’t care.

Remember Perot played a large role in Bush's loss. BJClinton never got over 50% of the popular vote. That bothered him, heh.

I respect your time here on FR but those are just silly accusations which you cannot possibly know.

I hope PEOTUS Trump can visit former president Bush in the hospital, as he is the only former president who can’t attend the inaugural.

Honestly, I think he went bitter after Clinton beat him,

You could see it in his face at times.

He thought America got it wrong, and he wasn’t too happy about it. He kept a stiff upper lip. That’s about it. > IMO

Except that you all forget GHWB presided over the peaceful dissolution of the USSR (a lot of you think it was Reagan, it was not) and insisted on the complete liberation of Europe and unification of Germany when everyone was saying he had to let the Russians stay in Germany and Eastern Europe.

He also stood up for Gorbachov / Yeltsin when the communist coup plotters tried to take back Russia.

And he did the liberation of Kuwait, defeat of Sadamm right (unlike his son),

He was bitterly opposed on all this, and of course his greatest sin was a bad reelection campaign.

A great and decent man.

LOL

I don’t either. He lost me years ago.

When he came out with the NWO stuff, my chin hit the floor.

I agree. I have stated many times he’s why we have the illegal immigration problems we have now. He refused to enforce the laws of our nation, and it carried on to the present day.

He was the great unwinder.

For a guy that couldn’t see even one point of light, that was a pretty amazing premise.

When I posted that I thought that might be raised.

Sadly Texans voted them into office.

I agree. I voted for Buchanan in 2000.

It was clear to me what GW was going to be as President.

When he was nominated, I had no choice.

Man those BushBots cost this nation.

Too cold for him out there anyway. I wouldn’t put him out there if I were his family.

Wouldn’t surprise me.

I don’t have a problem with that.

Why would I want any Bush folks there.

Keep them as far as possible from Trump and our nation’s capital in the future.
