Disney just lost my patronage for the next 4 years.
If it’s of any consolation, Bob Iger only has a year left at Disney, meaning there will be a chance at actual reforms at Disney come 2019, reforms that actually would squelch the liberalism that has tarnished what was once a very grand company. It’s a small chance, yes, but a chance nonetheless, and I’d rather take any chance I can get to stop the tide of filth coming this way.
That being said, what Disney and ESPN are doing right now is just disgusting. And I’m pretty sure the likes of Ariel from The Little Mermaid, not to mention the first three DPs, would have been utterly sickened with the Women’s March and what it represents. In fact, other than Belle and Merida, I honestly cannot see how ANY of the Disney Princesses would have any sympathy for the Women’s March. We need to make sure Disney pays for such crass behavior. Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press has its limits, and right now, they’re crossing into Voltaire territory, which was not what most of the founding fathers had in mind at all.
