I don't know if I can take another downtime like the last one, especially on a day as important as Friday. I binge-watched "Twin Peaks," "Black Sails," a lot of movies on TCM, and I was about to binge-watch "Billions" when we came back up. Every hour or so, I was back on the computer hitting the Refresh button on FR or going to the two Facebook pages waiting for a sign. If this had kept up for another day, I might have started crying as badly as I do every April 15.
Very sorry about the downtime, but I think we have enough in the regular budget to replace that bad server. John’s got to get it ordered, then schedule some time to install it and, hopefully, that’ll take care of the immediate problem. Then we’ll have some time to come up with a better long-term solution.
