Don't mess with CNN.
That's the unvarnished version of a message that the network's president, Jeff Zucker, delivered to President-elect Donald Trump in an interview published on Thursday by New York magazine.
"One of the things I think this administration hasnt figured out yet is that theres only one television network that is seen in Beijing, Moscow, Seoul, Tokyo, Pyongyang, Baghdad, Tehran and Damascus - and thats CNN," Zucker said. "The perception of Donald Trump in capitals around the world is shaped, in many ways, by CNN. Continuing to have an adversarial relationship with that network is a mistake."

What an elitist dumbass.
The game is already a blowout and the crowd has left the stadium.
Any more time spent engaging corporate media is wasted time, even if it may be viscerally satisfying.
True defeat for corporate media comes with irrelevance, and revoking their privileged access is a good way to hurry them along on that path.
I agree. The best way to go to war with these people is to put some of them in prison for collusion and influence.
Since when?
“Does CNN really think people in those countries have no other means of news?”
You raise an interesting point. Some of those countries (China) do have restrictions on which websites their citizens are allowed to visit. The presumption is that the rulers don’t want their citizens to get any crazy ideas about freedom and liberty in their heads that certain websites promote, such as Free Republic. It’s very telling that these countries in which the rulers determine which news channels and websites are ‘safe’ to view, and which ones may be seen as a threat (the ones promoting freedom and liberty), that those same rulers/dictators feel quite comfortable with the propaganda that CNN dishes out to its viewers. Communist China supports CNN.
#107 — Sounds reasonable and should be clearly understood by any journalist who has attended kindergarten.
Fake news has been with us for decades. It wasn't Watergate that started it all BIG TIME, it was a decade before that.
The average American is NOT capable of understanding how the corrupt media has allowed the really terrible to be hidden right in front of them. BUT that in some ways is changing. The more intelligent are beginning to see the light.
Watergate has a foundation of the biggest lie in history. Nixon knew that since his predecessor had pulled that lie off, Watergate would be a cakewalk. Nixon found out differently.
I’m sure Trump is quaking in his boots. Being seen in Moscow, Beijing, etc., doesn’t matter if you’re continually having to be fact-checked, upbraided and called out on formulating false news.
So... Zuck it, Sucker.
What a self-righteous. pompous, delusional scumbag...................
I disagree. Denying them legitimacy by questioning the integrity of everything they do is an effective tactic against them.
The meme needs to be established and constantly reinforced that they are biased political liars who need to be replaced by honest reporters of news.
CNN = Fake News
Never, ever threaten the POTUS......................
Why are we talking about CNN here, except to read their obituary? The credibility of CNN is dead so we should let them sleep and be remembered as part of our history, not our future. And besides isn’t this a topic more deserving for the Archives Gallery at the Smithsonian American History Museum? http://americanhistory.si.edu/visit/floorplans
Or perhaps CNN should be known as the “Walking Dead” ;)
The intelligence services in those countries are all laffing their collective butts off!..................
Crap News Network admits they make up the news and not report it.
Thanks CNN.
By far, one of the best scenes in the movie.
CNN=Fake News
Take the gloves off and beat the fat faced little punk until he cries uncle.
