Trump right now has the power to singlehandedly empower a brand new generation of media organizations, ones not controlled by corporate cartels.
It is interesting that you emphasize "corporate cartels." Only this last year I began to look at the problem from this perspective. It finally occurred to me that the New York headquartered Media is "liberal" precisely because liberal policies suit the best financial interests of the corporations who own the media.
When the government spends excessively, and that government spending ends up flowing through certain companies that get rich from this spending, you can see that it is in their best interest for this excessive government spending to continue, and it is not at all in their interests to slow it down or stop it.
Therefore the media becomes "liberal" because this is in the best financial interests of it's masters, even though it is not in the best interests of the people of the United States.
That would be like Ohio State refusing to play Michigan. To embarrass them, you have to take them out on the field and beat them. Steve Spurrier used to be accused of running up the score but he'd say it's up to the other team to stop them, not him to shut his offense down.
Don't deny Trump of the chance to run up the score. Trump is going to beat these liars with every pixel of their fake inauguration attendance scam. And that is just a start.
