The European Union trade chief says the trade policies U.S. President Trump has set out are “doomed to fail” and that the world’s biggest trading bloc remains committed to open borders and economies.

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström said Tuesday that most countries still share the same vision of open trade and investments.

She said that “building a wall is not the answer. The success of the EU relies on our open societies.” …

The EU is falling down. Their “destroy Europe” agenda has their little girls being raped, their police being attacked, and entire sections of cities no-go Islamic zones.

So the Grand Strategy of the EU is to align themselves with China and continue to let the ChiComs hollow out European industries while they are being colonized by Muslims. Sounds like the socialists have a bright future mapped out for their citizens; an Islalmofascist, basket-case continent ruled by the Chinese. Who wouldn’t want to live in that?

The best way to guarantee something will be done is to tell a person with a defiant streak that they can’t do it.

The fence around the White House = works.
The wall around the Vatican - works.
The new wall around O’Bastard’a new NW DC crib - works.

We lived without TPP before. And we lived without NAFTA before.

And by the way....tariffs have always been and always will be.

These socialistic-minded powers are a bit too willing to start trade wars. Obama sure did embolden them.

I suggest that Trump create big immigration quotas for educated Europeans with a verifiable work history and income (no spongers or Muslims moochers). It would be fun to watch elite heads explode intellectual human capital of Europe evaporate as they rush for the exits. How dare we steal their cattle!

Indeed—I almost imagine Trump asking the Euros for their advice, so he can know to go in the exact opposite direction.

“Cecilia Malmström was born in Brännkyrka parish in Stockholm and grew up in Gothenburg.
She was a student at the University of Gothenburg from 1992 to 1999, becoming a research assistant (1994). She then gained a PhD in political science with a thesis titled The Region, the Power and the Glory: Regional Parties in Western Europe[1] (1998), and became a senior lecturer at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg (1998–99).[2] Her thesis was on regional parties in western Europe, focusing on Catalonia (Spain) and northern Italy.[3] She has researched and taught in the fields of European politics, regionalism, immigration and terrorism.
Malmström has also worked in Stuttgart and in Barcelona.”

In college for 8 years for political “science” and she ain’t no PhD. Then became a politician. She has never worked a day in her life and she has never accomplished a single thing that anyone can point to. SHe can be fully ignored.

She is fluent in Swedish, English, Spanish and French, and has intermediate skills in German and Italian.

Trump could pick off individual European nations for separate trade deals as the globalists lose their grip on the EU power structure and dissension among the natives grows.

“If European state borders are so 1870’s then why the fark do they want us to keep investing in NATO to defend their borders from the red menace!?”

SO true. Anyway, if the Russians came in, I can make a solid argument that the net level of socialism would drop.

The EU is quite literally a re-imagining of the USSR. Full socialism, increasing limits of personal expression, a confederation of disparate nationalities, a highly centralized government that has a wealthy nomenclatura, and last, an aggressive expansive foreign policy. It is the USSR without Russian cultural points included.

The E.U. can stew in the mess they created taking in scum from the Islamic world.Better that they are there than here.

Now if only President Trump can get on the ball and deport these criminal Alians out of our country.Talk about a reduction in spending.

“The success of the EU relies on our open societies.” …”

I guess I’d like to see some objective evidence of the truthfulness of that statement. The EU, and hopefully the UN too, will both go out of business soon.

She’s just another one of those “self-appointed minders,” who think that they are”entitled” to be the quasi-rulers of the rest of us.

Regarding Europe where we have many American companies and America where we have many European companies, the question rises:

What trade policies has Trump proposed that are different?

The Trump problem with Europe is not trade but defense. First on the agenda is changing the American military policy in Europe. Europe must come up with sone $$. I do not think Trump wants to abandon bases in Europe but wants some help with the costs.

He has very rational thoughts on the matter that will be resolved in the deal.
