According to a recent report by the Pew Center the American voter registration system is in dire need of an upgrade. ** Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate. ** More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters. ** Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.o

BTW see also the California voters registration requirement thread, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3517430/posts

there is no process whatsoever in place stopping illegal aliens from registering and voting in california. Nothing whatsoever (probably other states as well)

Trump won this election's electoral AND popular vote. Only the votes of illegals and vote fraud put Hillary ahead.

Now tell us how many used a drivers license as proof of who they are......but of course it’s not proof of citizenship.

Seven years after I left Ohio I got a card from the county registrar there asking me if I intended to renew my voter registration.

Apparently I had been registered in two states for seven years. Had absolutely no idea. Wonder who was voting for me over there?

I got a Jury Duty card from L.A. and I haven’t lived there in California for over 11 years!

The Democrats know they’ve committed voter fraud on a massive scale. They will hamper and delay any investigation, and of course use their media allies to muddy the waters as well. Any way you look at this there is one overlying theme. The Democrats are on defense big time. Trump has thrown them on the mat and they’re gasping for air. For being a political novice President Trump is quite the political genius.

I called my county registrar in Ohio shortly after I moved to Tennessee to make sure that my name was removed from the voter rolls. This was a few months before Obama was elected. I wanted to make danged sure that nobody was going to vote in my name.

This was the news flash I received from CNN this afternoonon my cell phone:

“As President Trump calls for voter fraud probe, A CNN KFile review finds his Treasury pick, Steven Mnuchin, registered to vote in 2 states.”

The spin is beginning - to me CNN is framing this like Mnuchin deliberately registered to vote in two states with the intention of voting for President more than once...never mind the possibility that his name should’ve been purged from one of those states but wasn’t.

For all the tax revenue the Golden State pulls in and all its alleged high tech sophistication, California sure is a dysfunctional mess.

This and immigration reform scare dims the most. They see their pool of illegal voters going away.

Why would CA stop illegals from voting if they vote 90% Dem in a Dem state?

They are screaming that Bannon is registered in two states and also one of the appointees to a department not sure which one. I say good fix it. Fix all of them. They did point out that Bannon didn’t vote twice. Duh.

I’m beginning to get the sense that the press thought they were setting somebody up with all the pressure on Trump about voter fraud, Tiffany Trump and Steve Bannon, just like that. It was ready to go, oppo research. Just another stupid gotcha that was ill thought out and is already backfiring.

“there is no process whatsoever in place stopping illegal aliens from registering and voting in california. Nothing whatsoever (probably other states as well)”

That statement is completely accurate and/but probably should be amplified by saying it is ILLEGAL under CA law to perform any ID check as a condition for registering to vote. When people talk about “evidence” that fraudulent voting occurred, the very idea that there would BE evidence when even cursory verification / validation is deliberately obliterated is laughable.

Nobody can say or know whether Trump won the popular vote; not that it matters one iota to me.

Statistically, out of 125MM or so votes cast the idea that 2 or 3% are not fraudulent is absolutely absurd. I’d venture double that is a safe bet.

Oh, right, some of those illegals could have voted for Trump. Suuuuuure they did.

I find it interesting that the left is out of their shallow minds worried about Russia hacking our election; relying upon third-hand suppositional evidence yet are righteously insistent that nearly zero percent of votes cast were by illegals when it’s clearly impossible that there were scads of illegal votes cast.

Oh definitely. democrats are awful people. I just did a post on the “Save Melania” movement. It is all because of a 9 second video. So ridiculous.

” ... Mnuchin deliberately registered to vote in two states with the intention of voting for President more than once...never mind the possibility that his name should’ve been purged from one of those states but wasn’t.”

Let the idiots in the press babble about this all day long. Who cares how they frame it. Let them bring up all of the instances of double registration and states failing to purge ... it makes more of a reason to determine the depth/breadth of the problem officially. Sure they can try and spin things, but just bringing it up points out that there is a problem with our Federal elections.

I think like me it’s entirely possible that Tiffany Trump and Steve Bannon moved and had absolutely no idea that their voter card did not get pulled in the other state.

“I just did a post on the “Save Melania” movement. It is all because of a 9 second video. So ridiculous.”

Is it that video where Melenia is smiling, Trump turns around, and she gets a serious look back on her face?

Here’s the genuine explanation for that.

It occurs at ~ 2h 10m of the Inauguration video I saw on youtube ...

1> The Rabbi is ends his speech ... there is applause.
2> The next speaker approaches the podium. He makes a quip about the weather. Everyone laughs.
3> President Trump turns and looks at the First Lady while she’s laughing and says something. At this exact same instant, the speaker begins a prayer (or says something indicating he he going to say a prayer).
4> At that point, Melenia stops smiling and begins to bow her head and the President turns around and does basically the same.

What the left did is mute the audio, zoom into President Trump and the First Lady (can’t get sick of typing that :-) ), and make it seem like he admonished her or something to that effect.

These people are sleeze ... alternate reality sleeze.
