How does NPR explain THAT?
As the program progressed toward 9:30 a.m. I believe I heard a host say his name was "Todd," but can't be sure it was the same one.

A member of Trump’s transition team apparently told the AP that Trump is planning a 50% cut in funds and staffing for the EPA.
That gives me great confidence that NPR is not long for this world.
I don’t know, I guess their kooky ideas are that maybe they will try to run someone else against him in the primaries next election? The narrative of the MSM is that everybody hates Trump. Expect them to spam that idea day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, second after second, just so that in their hopes and assumed monopoly on all information, Trump will be voted out of office.

Am I happy he picked Pence? Yes I am. Do a I think that Pence would be as effective as delivering the changes this country needs to survive? Sadly, no.
I do not want anything to happen to Trump.
Every one of the many Believers that I have interaction with is grinning ear-to-ear with the expectation of EIGHT YEARS of President Trump followed by EIGHT YEARS of President Pence.

NPR is a preset on my dial solely for Car Talk. Other than that, they are non-existent in my world.

I hope he gets rid of NPR and public television. There's no need for either with all the media options today. If a show has a big enough following, it will get picked up by a for-profit channel.
Remotely possible, but I doubt Pence would run against Trump in the 2020 primaries. The specific suggestion was that Pence would take Trump's place.
Probably the most benign interpretation of "eliminated" in this context would be "impeached." However if that's what the host meant, he should've used the word "impeached," instead of the word "eliminated," which often carries a connotation of violence.
Like I said, they are nuts, and they are throwing everything at a wall hoping that it will stick. My guess is that they assume that only their word about Trump matters. Not correct for a sizeable portion of the population.
