Nah, it’d stay at 270 to win; Kali’s EVs, and congressional seats would just get distributed out to other states, assuming we keep the great State of Jefferson’s senate seats.

I wonder about that Vike,

If Kali secedes, then the US HR would just have 55 less seats, Senate, two less seats because the House is apportioned by population as determined by the official 10 year censusesesss.

So, until the good people emigrate from Kali and obtain permanent residency and then citizenship again...the population of the USA would hold the same for the House reps 435-55=380.

My thoughts!
