It was in February 2010, on Interstate 35 in Wyoming, Minn., according to Wikipedia, that the billboards first began to appear: MISS ME YET? ran the message over a picture of George W. Bush. Kind of, say todays Democrats.

Schadenfreude. Where are the apologies from the Left who called for W's assassination, called him a Nazi/Fascist, War Criminal, etc? The good thing is the Left blew their load on calling W, a fundamentally decent man although I disagreed with him on 75% of his policies, so when they went to the same well on Trump they were firing blanks.

Nice guy, failure as president, and left us with the gift of Obama.

Interesting that he would find newly-found regard by the left....even as respect for him has dwindled among conservatives to near nothing levels.

I disagree. A proponent of Big Government, prince of the Uniparty, a coiner of the phrases “religion of peace,” and “doing the jobs Americans won’t do” isn’t a decent man. It’s no surprise that crooked liberals are getting nostalgic.

Well I for one “will never miss you ever!” And I am ashamed that circumstances forced me to vote for you as the lesser of two evils. You and your father were both globalists who wanted to give away this country's sovereignty to your wealthy international business “buddies,” and the Saudis. You pi$$ed away $3 trillion on a needless war which destabilized that $hit hole known as the Middle East, and are solely responsible for the premature deaths of thousands of our young men and women in uniform. And you gave us the eight years of Obola on top of your worthless eight years. We are sixteen years into the 21st century and don't have $hit to show for it! Thanks a bunch a$$hole!

Kyle Smith admitted that he didn’t vote for Trump in another column.

With the benefit of hindsight, I don’t miss him at all.
If I knew then what I know now, I doubt I would have voted for him.
Islam has NEVER been a religion of peace, he was either lying or the dumbest person to ever inhabit the oval office.

I have always thought that G.W. Bush will be remembered by history a lot like Truman. A basically decent man who was forced to make war decisions very early and rose to the occasion (Truman nuking Japan and Bush responding to 9-11), but who was somewhat in over his head.
In contrast to Obama who will be remembered as a complete failure who tried his best to destroy America.

You didn't have to be a liberal to hate George W. That A/H kept our borders wide open to a Mexican invasion, encouraged yet more illegal immigration with his constant push for Amnesty and invaded a country that had nothing to do with 911. Now with millions of casualties and a trillion dollars later we are still there.
George W like his Dad is a globalist. And their political tribe needs to be jettisoned from the republican party because globalist are traitors that cannot be bargained with.

I wish Freepers would stop the STUPID “Bush’s fault” joke.
It’s old, stale and dorky.
Bush was a fake conservative.

I can’t wait for them to say the same thing when Trump’s successor arrives with a consistently conservative governing philosophy. Sometimes Trump is a pussycat.

No joke about invading the wrong country.
It should’ve been Saudi Arabia instead.

Sorry, but Bush wasn’t “forced” to invade Iraq. It was a stupid voice he made, a totally unnecessary and destructive decision. Trump is so right about that
To: fishtank
I’m surprised they haven’t blamed Bush for Trump being elected.
