There were so many GREAT shows where we actually could LAUGH at ourselves when points if view were exaggerated THEN PC stepped in and REAL humor went out the window!!! Archly was hysterical I think EVERYONE saw a piece of their father in that character, also LOVED George Jefferson can you EVEN imagine that show on television today, it is such a shame!!!
That’s so true KC! Loved All in the Family and the Jeffersons. So many family-friendly funny shows. I don’t watch any of the supposed comedies now except I do like Chrisley Knows Best - he’s not so PC ;-) I normally watch the show on replays on Xfinity on Demand b/c IIRC it comes on at 10 and I’m usually ready for the sandman then since I get up so early.
Have CSPAN 3 on in the background now with the Sessions hearing - Turban Durbin in droning on and on and on.
