one thing I noted on the TV coverage, was an interview with a blond lady wearing a red MAGA cap getting pepper sprayed while on camera.
the guy who sprayed her could barely be seen coming in from the left side of the screen as he reached around and sprayed her in the face.
by my quick glimpse of his face, he looked much older than any Berlkey student.
he had to be a professor, or more likely a member of the “Rent a Mob”

I believe the term you are looking for is “Black Bloc” ...lots of info on the Internet regarding this. Wikipedia likes to describe it in terms of a reactive “tactic.” I would describe it more as a loosely aligned grouping of violent anarchist and communist agitators.
Very similar to the groups that ravaged European society in the 1930’s and led to the emergence of the Brown Shirts as a response.
