"I cant believe weve had a nuclear powered carrier for 50 years and I still cant find a nuclear powered pickup truck."I'm not so sure about a pickup truck, but it's preposterous that we don't have nuclear powered commercial ships, railroad locomotives, and even semi-trucks. Submarine size reactors would actually fit in these quite easily, with few issues. The excuses, however are political, not technical.

The Naval ship “Enterprise” in Star Trek IV was actually the USS Ranger.

Good afternoon.
How many times did you return to home port, and how much leave did get?
Thanks.

The Naval ship Enterprise in Star Trek IV was actually the USS Ranger. Correct of course, in fact (I'll bet its hidden in the credits somewhere), but for the purposes of the STORY... The Ranger was functioning as an actor? :-)

Which lucky port is going to be home to this historic ship ? From what I understnad, it's more likely that a better question would be if they'll be selling "Enterprise" brand razor blades.
