DJT can get the ridiculous order overturned on a weekend, all he has to do is explain it is a matter of national defense and the courthouse door opens
but aside from even that,
DJT could instruct the army or national guard to defend our borders ...
and NO judge or governor has ANY authority to stop THAT!
There are many things the communists and SorozIslamoNazis can do to impede the new administration, but border defense is the very LAST area they have any say in. the very LAST. It is SO AMAZING they chose to challenge our national defense at our borders.................as their first big attempt at undermining our new administration. This is (constitutionally, legally, and yes even politically speaking, SUPER_SIZED_STUPID of them!)

How long, for example, was it from when someone brought a case and Obama lost in court? However long it was, it served the Obama goals during the time between when it was issued and when it was ruled as not legal.

I am still pointing out that he does have pretty much the final say when it comes to defending our borders and deciding who is safe to let in and who is not.
Presidential powers include the command over the armed forces and the militias of the various states when he, and he alone, decides to call them into action. IF he finds it necessary, he can simply use these powers to defend our borders (which is what these powers are designed for)....
he could, for instance, place a US Army or National Guard person in charge of each customs office, for starters.
Am I recommending this? No. But he can do it in ten minutes if he finds it is necessary ... so I am not worried about some judge’s (patently unconstitutional and statutorily illegal) ruling. Exactly how to proceed is up to DJT, but he does have the high cards when it comes to defending our national borders.

Trump should issue a new exec order including everone until the matter is resolved. There needs to be a law that prevents any judge less than scous taking action on a presidental order.

If that’s the case, then Trump needs to remind the bureaucrats that he’s their boss and to follow his orders or be fired for insubordination.

There is a law in the Constitution that states that only Congress may write law. It can’t be any more clear.
My thoughts also. Just ban all immigration for an indefinite amount of time. Can’t argue that anyone is singled out, can’t argue about the length of the ban.

just saying it was very very poor judgement for the Democraps to try challenging a sitting president on defending the very borders (and communities) of our country...when the president has, essentially, almost plenary power over matters of national defense. Even war (despite Congress’ advise and consent clause). Recalling when someone wanted to challenge President Bush2’s launching a war against Iraq (the challenge having come before Congress approved of the action), the S. court dismissed the challenge because it posed a nonjusticiable political question and “.....there are no judicially discoverable standards that would permit a court to determine whether the intentions of the President in prosecuting a war are proper.” (OConnor v. United States, 2003).
If the D’s want to (mis-)use the courts to challenge or undermine a sitting president, they have plenty of ways they can do it...where the courts have a wole lot more jurisdiction. Just saying that. If DJT decides to proceed ‘carefully” then FINE...but he does not have to if he determines (and he Obviously can do it) that the national defense requires a clear and decisive action to defend our borders. He has the high cards in any game between the presidency and the courts when it comes to borders and defense decisions.
