“A Sinister Perception of Islam Now Steers the White House,” blared a Thursday headline on the front page of the New York Times. Could anyone imagine it running an equivalent headline about Obama’s White House and Christianity — “A Sinister Perception of Catholicism Now Steers the White House”? Later, the paper changed “sinister perception” to “dark view of Islam.”
Whether or not leading imams hold a “sinister perception” of the West never figures into the story. Not a single one of their open declarations of jihad is quoted in the article. How Muslims define their own religion is of no interest to the Times. That would complicate the story too much. Readers might discover that Trump and Stephen Bannon are simply taking the authoritative definers of Islam at their word.

The story also informs readers that the Muslim Brotherhood is “largely nonviolent,” another whopper. The point of the story is that the Trump administration is pulling the plug on the official Islamophilia of the last administration, which the Times seems to think went swimmingly. Remember the glory days when Obama was inviting the Muslim Brotherhood to his speeches, his attorney general was banning any mention of Islamic terrorism, and his CIA director was sanitizing jihad as a “legitimate tenet of Islam”? Apparently, we’re supposed to tremble at the thought that this period has passed.
The Times devotes half of a page to a tremulously assembled collection of quotes from Stephen Bannon on his “war with radical Islam.” The quotes aren’t sinister but blameless. They are proof, if anything, that the White House is finally in the hands of people who refuse to serve as useful idiots for America’s enemies.

Refreshingly clear post that gives us LOTS of ammo. Contrasts with the huge number of barf posts that have overrun this site recently, giving us nothing but a lot to vent and boo about.
I would add C%A-I=R to the list as well as all of the college organizations that are recruiting tools and indoctrination zones for the sheep that so many are. And then we get to the training and indoctrination sites commomnly called churches in our language but entirely another issue in theirs where the real training and recruiting is going on.
I won’t bother with the name changing morons running around the country like wolves in sheeps clothing running in many cases the prison training and indoctrination centers, for the oppressed and discriminated against. This crap has reached it’s zenith, and high time to begin a fast slide to the devils furnace, never to return.

Academia is largely a playground for failures at life (and those that never had the guts to attempt a real job) and journalism , if practiced correctly is merely taking notes... other than to a political agenda intending to warp the future they are not worthy aspirations for anyone with a brain and ambition but are at best “fall back” positions. Now that those systems desperately need reform perhaps they will entice our children.
The NYT said lastly Trump is wrong when saying it’s readership is on decline. It said, on the contrary, it has quadrupled its average subscription rate. Without giving the cancelation rate, nor any hard numbers, so most probably lies, again.
Let’s see how long they can keep up with that.
They will need to burn through Mexico’s money.

The relevance of the media decreases as each thing they say is exposed as a lie. People know if they are better off or less well off, so as they get jobs the media loses more credibility. The things the media repeats about “Islamophobia” fly in the face of reality and people see that. There is probably not a person on the planet who hasn’t seen photos of gay people being thrown off buildings or beheaded. When real people see the paid protesters and useful gay idiots backing Islam, we raise an eyebrow and continue with our business. We know idiots and the idiots are making it easier and easier to tell the difference; they wear vaginas and their cars sport Coexist bumper stickers. (Reminds me of that comedian who says, “here’s your sign.”)
I agree 100 percent, usc. These vile cowards hide their treachery behind press credentials while they promote ideas that will result in the deaths of millions. They are the worst kinds of vermin, sniveling whiners who fight with a pen because they're terrified to go out and man the barricades. They leave the danger to their useful tools.

“Largely nonviolent” could be used to describe Jeffrey Dahmer. Most of the time he was a real quiet neighbor.
