Trump isn't the problem. The problem is that we have more people out of work in this country than we should, people that have paid into the system so to speak, yet nobody in the political class seems to give a rip. Trump simply capitalized on this stupidity, hopefully he'll be able to fix the problem. I personally don't care whether these guys work here or not, but there are also some "bad hombres" coming across the border that aren't being dealt with. Again, Trump will have to fix the problem that the elitist types won't.
Maybe your husband and his lumber client need to initiate citizenship classes for these people so they can be legal. (And speak English, too!)

Starting to see help wanted signs in multiple restaurant windows. There are at least 20 restaurants, bars, pizza places etc. within a five block area. One restaurant that doesn't have a sign has kitchen and wait staff that is obviously American. Anecdotal but I'm going to keep watching it.
