Everyone in MA knows what the very lax rules are in NH, gov workers travel to NH, by the busload, and vote LEGALLY, then go back to their lives in MA.
Been going on for decades. It’s a complete SCAM, everyone knows about it, but technically it’s NOT illegal.
Strictly speaking it's not legal.But the law is worded in such a way as to make it *very* highly unlikely that you'll ever be caught voting illegally.Same day registration was that Rat Party's idea (no surprise there) and they worded it in a very crafty manner.
They arrive in NH on election day and they claim that they are domiciling with a friend or at a motel in NH. All they have to do is show their out-of-state ID and promise that they are planning on living in NH. They then vote and go home.
I would also add that you can object to having a photo ID and say that it is against your religious beliefs.
I was Xmas shopping up at Merrimack and saw the busses. Would love to have taken photos but I would have killed myself trying.
