House Intelligence Committee Chair: Leakers of Flynn Call ‘Belong in Jail’

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said Tuesday that those who leaked the contents of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s phone calls “belong in jail.”

“That’s nine leakers that all belong in jail,” Nunes said. “Those nine people broke the law, clearly, by leaking classified information to anybody.”

Nunes said he also wanted to know how U.S. intelligence agencies were wiretapping Flynn’s calls, which he said may also have been illegal.

The chairman said there are only two ways that intelligence agencies can listen in on an American’s phone call — after obtaining a warrant, or inadvertently, such as in the case of Flynn speaking with a foreign official being spied on, which the report suggests was the case.

Nunes said “it’s pretty clear” that there was no warrant.

“It’s pretty clear that’s not the case,” he said. “I’m pretty sure the FBI didn’t have a warrant on Michael Flynn … To listen to an American’s phone call you would have to go to a court, there’d be all that paperwork there. So I’m guessing that doesn’t exist.”

I like the sound of this; make an example out of them, over and over again until people respect our laws regarding classified information. Trade Russia to get the NSA traitor back too.

18 § 798 of the U.S. Code:

Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates … or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes … any classified information … obtained by the processes of communication intelligence from the communications of any foreign government … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

The leakers and the Washington Post journalists who published the material should all be prosecuted and jailed.

Concur; I think the press should not have the right to knowingly publish classified US secrets, and I would like them prosecuted when they do so.

Polygraphs of operatives all the way down the line. Submit or resign. Follow up with FBI surveillance of any who resign.

Somebody is going to jail. If Trump wants to clear this lawless government up, find, prosecute, and prison them, and you watch the rest of the clowns fall in line.

Let the talking stop and the action begin. They need to just do it.

Doesn’t the Patriot Act also give sweeping powers to the President that are unconstitutional? Just like the globalists say “by whatever means necessary”, I hope DJT uses all means at his disposal to dispose of the traitors, either out in the open for all to see, or in secret, whatever he chooses is fine with me.

I just want to see all these traitors, which seem to number in the millions, GONE forever, and my country back.

So why isn’t he?

He could have also come down like a ton of bricks on Berkeley. But he didn’t. He could have told Seattle judge he lacked jurisdiction...gtfo...but he didn’t. He could have stood up for Flynn, but he didn’t.

Why?

Trump...if you are going to win, let alone survive, you’d better get really tough and nasty, quick.

The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn

Representative Devin Nunes, the Republican chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence HAS IT RIGHT.

Nunes told this writer that this will not end well.

"First it's Flynn, next it will be Kellyanne Conway, then it will be Steve Bannon, then it will be Reince Priebus," he said.

Put another way, Flynn is only the appetizer. President Trump is the entrée.
