Zero Hedge is run by a guy whose father was a part of the Bulgarian communist hierarchy. My guess is that after the President did not lift the sanctions against Russia, and the administration took the position that Russia will have to return Crimea to Ukraine the change of attitude happened. Today Putin ordered the Russian media to stop being friendly to Trump.
