There was a VERY limited window for something as Incredible as a coup, soft or not, or the taking down of a president.
AND Trump is 10x tougher than his enemies though.
The 7th floor of the state dept, which was wipe out today, has been referred to as the shadow govt.

But THIS is why the damned DEMS in the Senate have been moving like quicksand, to keep the president's team out of the government departments.
BTW - regarding our earlier discussions on Italy - I recently recalled walking along the front beach area and seeing young Italians holding hands and enjoying each other's presence - with a black-clad grandma walking about 20 feet behind them. So, at least in the early '80s, they still held to some sort of convention - in extreme southern Italy at least.....
