Sometimes it’s hard to see the trees through the forest, or something like that.
He has a GREAT POINT here - we’re not talking ‘censorship’, or ‘prior-restraint’, all we are talking about is BOTH SIDES (now) actually engaging in dialogue...maybe sounding silly at times, but still dialogue - that’s actually EXACTLY what the founders wanted.
When Trump starts to say that his Communications people need to clear articles before being published, then we even people like us will oppose him, as that is censorship. But if Trump wanted to do that, he’d already be talking about it - right now just firing back and mocking them is doing just fine.
Where I work, every article, speech, poster, etc., must be reviewed and cleared before it can be disseminated to the public. It is not censorship, it is to protect information that should not be made public. And there are all kinds of reasons to protect information.
