Michigan is still a pretty blue state.

++++++++++++++

Huh?   To be sure we have more than our fair share of ghettos but they have been overcome the last decade.

Mi has a republican President of the United States.

MI has a conservative, republican backed State Supreme Court.

MI has a republican Governor.

MI has a republican Lieutenant Governor.

MI has a republican State Senate.

MI has a republican House of Representatives.

MI has a republican Attorney General.

MI has a republican Secretary of State.

MI has a republican congressional margin by a 2:1 ratio.

MI is a right-to-work state.

But to be sure that filthy bovine federal socialist senator is target #1 and is the last vestige of blue to be removed.

As far as the two local rockers are concerned, neither one has any serious notion to run for the office yet both offer a bunch of voters next year - the article is entertainment, not reality.  Ted Nugent was excellent in warming up for Trump's campaign events here, also be noted the last campaign stop for Trump on Election Eve was Grand Rapids where Ted kept the audience entertained into the late hours.

Wouldn't recommend taking any bets that a democrat will win on the senate seat in 2018, and on a state level there are no elected rats statewide.
